Lethbridge

I took the spirit man (from Cursed!) to Lethbridge, and introduced him to hundreds of kids. They loved him, especially his fat belly.

He claims he didn’t enjoy it and is looking pretty grumpy, but I think secretly he enjoyed being a star.

ARTember in Airdrie

I’ll be giving two talks in Airdrie on Friday, September 30, as part of their ARTember celebrations. I’m really looking forward to it; I love library talks (and libraries, librarians, rows and rows of books, happy kids). I think I’ll bring the spirit man statue (from Cursed), to impress (scare?) them.

Launching Cursed

With the spirit man at Monkeyshines…

Cursed! Launch

Cursed! is launched into the world, at a lovely launch attended by many of my favorite people. They energized me through a terrible cold.

The spirit man stood by my side, keeping everyone in line. And I sent them home with buttons to keep on spooking them. Just in time for Halloween.

Cursed! Cover

With a book launch planned for October 16, it’s definitely time to post the cover art for Cursed! Eric Orchard designed the cover (he also did Feather Brain). The spirit man statue is based on the real carving, standing guard in our back entry.
