Off to California

Friday I’m off to California for 10 days of meditating. I’ll return exhausted, deeply quiet and moving at half-speed, and not at all ready to start my next task, editing the sequel to The Nexus Ring.

First post

My decision to include a website in my story Feather Brain – howweirdcanyouget.com – has turned around and bit me. I’m now working on creating the real website, and of course, an author website to go with it. Derek Mah, website designer and children’s illustrator extraordinaire (see Monsterology and Villianology, written by Arthur Slade) is designing it all, and coaching me through it. He also set me up with this blog.

It feels backwards – creating the website that led to the story after the book was published – my own fictional time loop. Which gets me thinking . . . where else could this take me?
